WMS 550 board 1.5 doesnt start up

hi i have several boards wms 550 v1.5 that desnt start up and i have  notice that the led array that form the number 8 doesnt turn off it is on all the time,  the eproms game are ok i have tested in another board working and in a good board the led array comes off when i turn on the machine and then hear the "bong"

75% of the time its socket expansion or smoke / dirt on the XU-12 CPU Chip

Just remove, use contact cleaner and reseat.

Then try the board again

And the other 25% of the time you need a new battery or hitting the yellow reset button on the board will do the trick.

i did your suggestions but nothing....   i have another that the led array turn off and i hear the "bong" but nothing in the lcd monitor, the lcd is in good condition, i aplied ram clear chip and i hear the "bong" but the same i cant see anything in the lcd
