Does anyone know if there's a way to get a 6000 to pay a few coins from the hopper and the rest through a ticket?

hmmm....I set up all my S2000's to do this by enabling "partial pay"....easy to do....but a Bally 6000 I don't see a Partial Pay in the config....maybe try this and see what happens:

54 = 20
61 = 003

I thought a 6000 was pretty old??  Is the machine newer than I thought?  I may have been taking advantage of her.   The Diamonds and Devils kit has really upset me and has kinda made me shy away from the platform - It's really frustrating.

Anyway back on topic-  If my memory serves me correctly Wayne mentioned that he had split pay configured many months ago.

Just for documation - I spoke with Wayne and he doesn't think split pay is an option.   So for all the 6000 owners it's either all hopper or all ticket with nothing inbetween.

hi, I was at my cottage for the weekend on dial up there, I hate dial up.

  You can set up an S6000 to pay from the hopper up to a set amount and if the credits are higher than that set amount it can pay from the printer, up to the printer max setting.  I set my machines to pay up to 200 credits from the hopper, and from 201 credits to 9999 credits it will print a ticket.  The other option as JDM said is unavailable.

Today I set some machines up to accept coins only (no bill acceptor), and print tickets only, a bit of a different set up, but that's what the customer asked for.  The machines do have hoppers in case they change their minds later.

Thanks,
Wayne

That setup not exactly what I'm looking for but it's close!  What settings are you using for 200 coins hopper  and 201-9999 ticket?

Wait a - second -   I see how it works now -   any pay under 200 would all come out coin -  and any pay over 200 would come out ticket.  One or the other.

Still very useful.

I thought I had this, but I can not get my slot to drop coins.  Only a ticket comes out.  I have the following set up:

54 - 20
61 - 0003
64 - 21
67 - 8000
73 - 0000

My assumption was it would pay $5 in quarters then the balance in a ticket.
