I have a splus that when you play the max amount of coins for the game the reels spin by themselves without pushing the spin button or pulling the handle.. I have done a clear and replaced all the chips boards and mother board with the same result.
any recommendations.
thanks

If it didn't go away with a clear I'd suspect the max bet wiring

Check to see if the max bet button is stuck down, also check the micro switch under the max bet button
to see if it is stuck down, if you don't see anything visibly wrong disconnect the wiring to the micro Switch for
the max bet button, the switch may be shorted.

You're saying that if you drop three coins in that it spins as soon as the third coin drops?  I think that's an adjustable setting available on some SP chips.  Which SP chip are you running in the game, Darell?

I agree with the replies above...
I must ask you though...what chips are in it?
Do they have the correct checksums?

It was the max bet button wiring. the yellow connection on the right side was plugged into the botton and should have been on the top connection.
thanks for all the tips.

Never Mind! Duh! Duh! Duh!  I just realized you were talking about the Coin's in, not the Max play button.  Duh! Duh! Duh! Duh!

The "Max Play" button is what I use for my "Auto-Play" switch.
It powers up the relay I use to turn the power around on a different circuit to then "close"/activate the "Max Play" button.
Sounds like you somehow had it hooked up to the "closed" circuit on the switch instead of the "open" switch circuit.
So every time the reels finished their spin, the max button (being "closed") played another game!

Glad you got it going, I've had the same problem on a slant, but it was my own fault thinking I knew what I was doing and pulled an old switch and put a new one in wired it back up wrong.
