Any Ideas

My E-2000 hopper seems to bind up sometimes when paying out. It will start then stop, go into a tilt condition. When I pull it out and empty it it seems to rotate fine when it hold the lever up. No bind or anything. I rotate is a few times run it through test #4 and it works for a few days then starts acting up. Any suggestions on what I might chase down.

there are various possiblities - the hopper bowl may not be seated properly is one of them. Take the hopper out of the machine - hook up a 110v jumper to the motor - put a good supply of coins in the bowl and start the motor up - if it starts to seize up - turn off - release tension on the 3 spring loaded screws and the one with the cam. Make sure that if there are no bearings along the sides of the hopper disk - there needs to be liner (blue steel) along the inside edge of the bowl.

Thanks for the ideas
I loosened the screws on the hopper I might have gotten them too tight when I had it apart the first time. Seems to be working fine now but only coins and pays will tell the verdict. I'll get it a try and see what happens, thanks again

I have a 5500 and the hopper keeps paying. If I have 1 credit and I hit cash out it keeps paying..I have to do a ram clear..Any ideals to get the hopper back on correct payouts..?  Scratch Head
