OK I replaced the monitor with what Ron suggested and I get a nice pic on the screen but the colors just do not look right.  No color in the suits of the cards at all (see pics) and the colors just do not seem right.  I did not have a working machine before so this is the first I have seen the screen so is this normal?  I mean it is playable and that is the important thing.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Also as you can see the deal/hold buttons light up at different times as well.  not sure if this problem might be related to the monitor or not.  Thanks for your time

Those colors look correct to me. My Sircoma machine has been dead for a year, but IIRC it had a similar look to yours. Basic colors, nothing fancy.

Where are you located? My monitor works, but my CPU board is junk. I don't want to ship the machine, but I'd like to get rid of it. I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio and can give you a donor if you're close.

Well I am glad that is what it is supposed to look like.  I thought there might be some color to the different suits.  Unfortunately I live near Madison, WI so not exactly close, too bad I would have taken it.  If you ever want to ship the monitor and some parts let me know.  Costs too much to ship the whole cabinet though.  Thanks for the reply.

Hi rbwilso 1,

I hate to barer of bad news, but the picture is NOT right...when's the last time you saw a cyan blue heart or diamond?

If you have a true Ceronix 1490 there should be a connector that has a TTL plug-in that can be switched to a analog plug(these plug-ins are toward the front of the board, closest to the CRT)...try switching it to the unused one...one is for IGT (analog)the other is for Bally(TTL)...it's probably plugged into the TTL connector & needs to be plugged into the analog connector...from the pictures, it reminds me of the Bally setting on a IGT monitor!

Hope this helps...let me know if this works...

I wonder what it'd cost me to ship that to you? Anyone know roughly what it costs to ship a video poker via a slow method? I really would rather my Sircoma go to good use as opposed to throwing it out....

You need a video inverter board or if you have a ceronix monitor "1490 chassie" you can configure to (-) video.
