Hi there,

I need description of ram clear procedure for MK6 plarform.
Send PM or else.

Thanks!

1. On MK6 mainboard, take eproms u73 & u86  u70 & u83 out.

2. Install set chip eproms in sockets u73 & u86  u70 & u83

Sorry, My mistake...

3. Turn the machine on, select the kind of game you are about to install (multi-line, reel power, super reel power, etc)

4. Press and buttons simultaneusly to clear the memory (RAM clearing in this step, so take meters if needed before you do this)

5. Set the setchip version you are using in the screen.

6. Configure the following:
  - Jurisdictional options
  - Money setup
  - Payout setup
  - Gameplay setup
  - Miscellaneus options
  - Skip the "Bill Validator setup"

7. Save all options (you MUST open logic door for this)

8. Turn machine off, then reinstall originals eproms in their respective sockets.

9. Turn on the machine, after boot turn the audit key.

10. Press chasout and service simultaneusly to clear the static ram

11. Go to menu 5 Operator setup selections --> 5.1 Game machine options.  In this part configure all the settings found in this page, plus the settings corresponding to [BILL AND VOUCHER OPTIONS] & [DEVICE DRIVER OPTIONS] sub menus (the last is where you configure all the periferics: bill acceptor, touch screen, hopper, coin acceptor).  Save all options when you finish.

12. Finish: at this point your machine is configured (assuming you are not working with a hyperlink MK6)

13. Check in the option "7 Current lockup" of the main menu to ensure you don't have any weird error current on your screen.

14. Close the main door, enjoy

TIP: all you need to know in every step is written in green letters on the menu screens.  Always read the screen!!!

Regards! Wink

you could also try just changing some of the options in the game setup menu, save then change back, save again, this works for me avoids having to take chips out and doing whole setup again, this could just be a NZ Aus software variation though. should also mention this only works if 0 credit on machine
