Me at work

« on: October 23, 2009, 03:13:55 PM »

Trying to clear a game that has a 31 code  at startup - door open no less - I did the safe ram clear - that works but does not clear the error - using CLEAR CHIPS - I get all 9's  winner paid - credit and coin all show 9s.
Went back to ground zero - burnt all new U3/4/12/15 onto ST (SGS) eproms - and ALL IS WELL - I give up on using TI AMD -  seem to cause more problems than they are worth
Still getting the all 9's  - only with clear chips - no matter which manuf - which speed - I keep getting all 9s in the meter window.   I use ST 120ns  for the regular U12/U15 and I can do a saferam clear - if I use the ST  120 clear chips all 9's  - the cksums are correct U12 8e00 and u15 3073.  I have 2 original clear chips that are on TI 27512 120.
