Here's a good one, I think. I know there's a lot of treasured moments in the Best Slot Hit at Home/A Casino topics, but couldn't those topics be gleaned occassionally for anything over say 6 months old to save file space. Same goes for the found on ebay/craigslist/welcome wagon threads. I only say this because we seem to run into issues with PM storage and what not. Especially where ebay and craigslist are concerened those listings aren't generally pertinant after 2 weeks and the individual listings in these topics and/or the ability to post individual listings in these two topics could maybe be eliminated altogether. Just my thoughts and there may be other topics that qualify the same way maybe to make room for more, new, useful stuff

You're clicking the wrong button. You do not click "submit a new file" to start a new topic.

To start a new topic, navigate to the sub-forum where you want to create the new topic, then click the New Topic button (near the upper-right corner -- it looks like this: ).

Users cannot delete their own posts.  At best you could go in and edit a post to remove its text, but the post itself would still be there in the thread (with an empty body), and would still be taking up space in the database.

If it's an old Classifieds post, it will eventually get deleted by the site administrators as they go through and do periodic cleaning.  If it's a post asking a question about something related to how to fix a machine, chances are it will remain on the site for the future benefit of someone searching for the answer to the same question, which is a good thing.

If there is a specific post of yours that you really want deleted for some reason, feel free to send a PM to a moderator or site administrator and they'll handle your request.

When I'm using Google Chrome I'm having problems when viewing topics.  On the top line the only command button visible is the "print"  The following buttons are not visible "reply", "notify", "mark unread" and "send topic.
When I use just google all buttons are visible.

I have a laptop and everything is visible with google chrome.  I'm sure it's a setting but I can't figure it out.
