What would cause this code machine runs fine then you shut it off and the next time you turn it on there is the 83F2 you clear machine and it runs fine then it might take 5or 6 times on and off then 83F2 is back you clear machine and all works fine for a wile Battery is new 3.7V could this be in the 18 and 20 chips  Help stir the pot / get cooking

How's your power supply?  Do you have another one to swap or a volt meter to test it perhaps?

Remove and reseat your U30 and U45 chips.

You shouls also reseat the U18 and U20.  This code actually refers to your U18 and U20, check the speed of these chips, and if you have a way of checking the checksum, do so, and I'll see if I have the same chips to compare.

WAYNE , YOUR RIGHT ... YA COULD HAVE A BAD FILE OR THE CHECK SUM THAT WILL CAUSE THAT PROBLEM ....

Ok heres what I did made new game chips and roms and reseated the other chips then cleared game and game worked shut it off turned back on and 83F2 so I got a new board and switch all chips into new board and game plays fine shut it off and turn it back on and game plays fine so I changed all chips back to origional board and 83F2 again cleared board and played shut it off and back to 83F2 So it has to be some wear else on board  Scratch Head

they are the scratchram and saferam,   the next chips that could be the problem would be the U34(saferam PAL) and U 35 (saferam key)
