Hey there folks,

My Super Spin Sizzling 7's machine that recently had the sound problem likes to be a biatch apperantly!! Duh! hissy fit

The backlit reels used to be pretty bright, but just now all of the sudden they are VERY dim on all of the reels! bawling I have attached before and after pictures for comparison of the brightness change. Please Post Pictures DONE! It is very noticeable. Also the second picture IS during them flashing just after getting that hit.

Have any of you seen this problem before? Anyone know what to do to fix this? Scratch Head Help Help Help

Thanks in advance, I am hoping that it is something simple, and someone knows whats up. I did not see this problem in any of my searches here. Also I have not changed anything or fiddled with it recently, just had company playing it. It was a sudden change, and not a gradual dimming over time also.

Mark, I would think that since it affects all the reels and happened suddenly it would probably be the backlit controller card.

A solder connection blew out due to vibration?

9 times out of 10 ->->-> a bad ground in the reel connections.

These lights are matrix driven, look at the lamps that are dim, then look at the schematic and see which transistor on the driver/controller card is common to all of them. Since they attempt to light, the controller card is getting power.Sometimes doesnt take much to knock out a transistor that controls a set of lamps (relamping with the power on will do it)
