Hi to everyone. I wonder if someone has some info for this oldie.... Current Technology System. I used it a lot with the igt player's edge as well with the player's edge plus a long time ago. At this time I hook it with a igt Gameking and works just fine...... concluded so far that works like the con2.
But? there's something I don't understand, a setting for a HT? What those initials stand for?
Any help will be appreciated.
On the U11 eprom there's a sticker with the following info:
PRSC E/V4.54
(c)95 MIKHOHN
256 U11 csA058

Are you running it as a "Standalone" unit?
What types of displays will it run so far?

I'm running it for maximun 32 machines, the display It's a columscan led matrix display as shown on the pic.
The controller has settings such as CJ, RT, JL, Inc, etc.... there's only one thing I can't find what stands for.... HT?
I programmed the fields I mention above, current jackpot, reset, jackpot limit, increment, and it's functional, performs the resets in every level the controller works. For example I configure the four levels in the controller for level 1 for a Royal Flush, level 2 for a Straight Flush, level three for Four Aces, and level four for 4 2,3,4,'s.
When I hit a poker of "2's" the controller resets the value to the one configured in the reset field.
In the field HT, I placed the values as same as the reset field.
Hope this info helps.

I'd be careful programming that "HT"....
From reading a copy of the CON2 manual,
I am pretty sure that "HT" stands for "Hidden Jackpot Total".

I thought the same thing, but the values remain the same after playing the machines...... can it possibly be for another version program for the same controller?

You know more these progressive controllers than I... arrow
I play with the Mikohns, CDS's, but never even seen your CTS system before.
I'm sure someone that's used these will chime in soon! yes
I'll Google around and see if I can locate some docmentation on Current Technologies Progresive Systems.

I profess no actual knowledge .... but If its a Hidden Jackpot I thought the way these worked is that you program in XX coins and the Jackpot amount which is a fixed jackpot value (not progressive).
When coin XX is played the Jackpot is awarded.

This being different than a mystery progressive.... which is a hidden progressive.

Secondly PSP would not automatically update the value.... you would have to LOAD (F11 ??) in the values from controller to see them within PSP.

I have never seen either that board nor the keypad your working with. Cool stuff.

Yeah,..very cool and much easier than screwing around with our bloody mikohns!!!
Could never really figure out why the Mikohns have to have all these separate boards
to get a display working without seeing an C11 or C9 error code.
I wish they would have designed all the components right onto one single board...
but, I guess it way the way of thinking back in the 80's.

That keypad way of entering configuration data is something else...
You don't have to hook up a laptop or computer to the CTS system, memusa?

That's the espectacular thing!! No pc needed to configure the controller neither the display. You configure both with the keypad.
I'll post some pics later so that everybody can see how to do so.....

I finally decided to leave the HT settings in "000,000.00". No big deal happens leaving it like that..... Scratch Head
So the thing is that I hook this controller with twelve bally game makers V7000.....
Works fine....... wasn't an easy task..... but, after three months of trying to do so, I've accomplished my project.
Thanks to all of the members for your time reading this topic. And specially for the one who submit the gamemaker manual in the submit a new file section.

I finally find out what the HT initials stand for....... applause applause applause applause
THRESHOLD AMOUNT (S)
The threshold amounts allows the user to change the percentage rate (s) of the meter automatically when the meter reaches the threshold limit. For example, if the low increment rate is equal to 1% and the Hi increment rate is equal to 1/2% then the progressive meter will increment 1% between the start-up value and the threshold value. When the meter reaches the threshold amount the meter then will increment 1/2%, in this example..... As simple as that frying pan

Thanks to all of those who recognize my achievement.....
Many technicians leave unfinished business just because they think there's no possible solutions, I read something in a manual that appears to be the function in the controller and after testing the settings, the HT configuration worked....
Now at this time, my project is to understand the function of the con2 in all its dimensions. yes
A personal advice...   READ READ READ READ frying pan frying pan frying pan frying pan frying pan and be patience if something doesn't works as you wish in the first/second... X attempt Duh!.
Thanks to all the members again, I consider this site as one of the most important tools in my daily work....since I work outside the  American Flag  Hail

Does anyone have a manual or even better a programming keypad for one of these? We have 2 of them here in Las Vegas with the default message on them....
