So I got into work this morning and another game is DOA, I have no idea what happened or what had been tried before I got into it. The error on the front is 88FF and it will do nothing. In the manual it says: 88FF = catastrophic failure of MPU board send back to manufacture???  I tried a new Processor board and same thing. My question is; is the MPU board the processor board or is it the back plane? What else could cause this problem? Any help would be saving my A** cause as you all know these old games aren't supported and they make a lot of money, so the boss doesn't want to loose any of them.

Try new mains u28 & u43, and try new personality u18 & u20.  Main board is processor.

Thanks,
