Has anyone played House of of the Dead Ex?   I played it tonight at Hollywood Casino in Pa.  I liked it very much.  It was kinda like pattern matching to me because all combos in consecutive reels count.

Are there any other games like this?

How difficult is it to come by?  I'm assuming it's the 044 board.

I was just curious if it was available.  If the prices ever come down on those things I would get one.  The reason I ask is cause in the entire casino -  the whole thing - thousands of slots - there were only TWO of those games.

Those 044 games are way too rich for my blood.   yes

$1300 a pop for a single game is nuts   Crazy

Bunker,

You know how Casinos work! Unfortunately, it may be cheaper in the long run to drop the $1300.00 on the 044 setup!!! Duh! frying pan bawling hissy fit Cry Laughing

I wonder if you were a professional gambler, could you buy these machines for home use, and claim that they are for practice and education in your vocation??? Then take them as a business write off? stir the pot / get cooking Scratch Head

I really shouldn't encourage our group with ideas like this, or should I??? Cry Laughing Cry Laughing Cry Laughing

Your right - some are really expensive.

I liked this game because I could play max lines for only 25 cents.    (there not really lines)

From a business point of view Income less Expenses = Profit/Loss and depending if you designate this as a proprietarship (as opposed to an LLC) you can deduct the loss on your taxes.
The only cavet is that you need to have a reasonable expectation of profit but no one says you actually have to be a good business person and make money. After 3 years of consecutive losses you may trigger an audit. My adivce would be to buy 6 machines, fix a couple up, and flip them. Keep the ones you want until you get bored and then flip them too. Doing this with just one machine that does not routinely get sold may not survive an audit. The cost of carrying a $1300 item at 4% is $56/year (interest only) on a line of credit. Which is deductable as a business expense.

I knew you would like my train of thought! propeller Would it be suspicious if I bought my machines from my other company that is losing money too??? Scratch Head bust gut laughing bust gut laughing

Besides who reasonably expects to profit on a slot??? OK too cynical...... look in the Home Jackpots section as of late!  Cry Laughing

Make a private deal with PA...ask them to lend you the 50mill for 5 years
and pay them back a measly $10 million per year...
heck ,you will be grossing twice that the first year alone! LOL
I attached a link to the places in PA and what they made last year>>>

It isn't just the 50 mil license fee, you need to show lots more money so that the state is sure that you are serious. You need lawyers (lots of them), insurance, positive investigation credentials, etc etc. So it's more like 750 million to 1 or 2 billion that you really need. That is why there are so few issued here. Oh to dream.........
