This error message just showed up on my machine.  It is a 13 inch Game King IGT 98.
Can anyone give me some information if this can be cleared, or is a repair in order?

sounds to me like the touchscreen controller went out but make sure there's no loose connections. I'm sure you tried to power cycle the machine look into that first

Before you go buy any parts, check the mother board for a burned trace. I had this same problem on two boards a couple of weeks ago. Soldered in a jumper wire bypassing the bad spot and both work fine now.
