If you mean all inserted coin to credit you need a game chip that supports it like SP1137, etc

If you mean wins to credit.
Press self test switch until you see a 0 in coins played and a 2 x or 5 x in winner paid/credit displays, the first couple of presses you will get  00 and 000 those are communication settings. you need to go one past those. (x is 0,1,2)
if you get the 2 x, turn JP key until you get the 5 x, change the 5 x to a 5 1, or 5 2 by pressing the spin reel switch, press self test once to go to next page options and close door..
Try pressing  the cash out or credit button (you may already have right settings)

Thanks Foster. I did mean all coin to credit. I have a few Bally 6000's and this is an option in the menu for them.
If I get this SP1137 chip, is it just a swap, or is it a menu option that I need to set after the swap?

Thanks.

Hello dinot.....thought I would chime in.........If you change your game chip to SP1137 as Foster suggested..........It will not be a simple swap.

You would need to do a RAM clear and then turn your Bill validater back on. Now all this is easy to do......you would Need to get the SP1137 chip....a RAM clear chip....and also a SET Denom chip to turn on your bill validator.

The sequence would be........

1. Remove main board.......remove current SP chip(game chip).....and Install Ram clear chip.......re-install board.......perform ram clear procedure.
2. Remove main board.......remove RAM clear chip..........Install new SP1137 chip. Machine will now start working ........Bill validator won't.

Note: When you did the Ram Clear procedure in step #1........you erased all the info pertaining to your bill validator. That is where step #3 comes in.

3.Remove board..........Remove SP1137 chip........install Set denom chip. Turn on bill validator......set it to the correct denomination.......
4.Remove board..........Remove set denom chip..........reinstall SP1137 chip.......machine will be back up and running with the new chip.

Now it is slightly more difficult than the above.........but not much........you can probably find how to perform any of these functions here in our forum.......and if you can't...............anyone here can and will walk you through it.  applause applause applause

Just a note the 1137 does require a special Set chip (Euro Credits is what the 1137 does)

It is also not necessary to do the RAM clear.  The S+ will re-init the eeprom if it needs to.  It depends on what chip you currently have.  Very rarely do you need to do a RAM clear when switching sp chips.  There's a high likelyhood that you will need the set chip though, to enable the bill validator.

I do know that set86 is required to set a token value, but I'm not entirely sure the plain old SET15 can be used to just enable the DBV.  I have not yet tried that personally.

I use a set15 and it enables the DBV and sets denom.....

The BV function on/off is different with the SP1137 its not option 9
That I do remember from setting up my S+ I like the SP1137, and the S2000 with SG00363 game chips, both are tokenized and work great that way.
dropping in a token is like dropping in a $50 bill in either machine $1 denom on both. Might change S+ to $2 due to Spectrum progressive.

I'd to add that the SET086 instructions are located within the SP1137 PSR sheet.
I just installed this today and love it...I can drop as many coins as I wish...all the extra coins gets added to the credits!

Cool. I will have to look at the PSR.
I moved from a 731 to a 1271 because I could not select Linked Progressive as my top, and integrated as my second level. Every other permutation worked but that combo: (Link Link, internal Internal, Internal Link).
Subsequently I had to obtain a Set90 because the progressive setup options, along with the song selections got removed from the game chip setup.

If this supports the same progressive method I might go that way too......

I can't speak to the progressive options for it, but I installed the 1137 on a machine I'm selling that doesn't have a DBV.  I tokenized it so that one coin (quarter) equals 25 credits -- it's a penny machine that runs on quarters!  It makes the game fun to play as you don't have to keep feeding coins into it every time.  In fact, just feed ten quarters in and you've got 250 credits on the meter, ready to go.   propeller
