Hmmm, it game with a game kit for the RWB WS.
 It says SS3672 RWB WS 3C Type  0 97.40%

Maybe it is mislabeled ??   Scratch Head  I guess it should be a SS3918

I guess I will have to stick it in the machine for a check.
Any idea the reel strip order for Royal Flush?  I an just wondering how they compare to the
RWB WS, maybe I can use the chip anyways  Crazy

If you read the chip into a Eprom burner the SS number is usually in clear text...... proof is in the pudding as they say the outside label is just for decoration Smiley

You could run the reel strip tests and see if the chip matches the strips! yes

Why would you want to stick a 2coin chip into your 3coin game?
SS3918 is a 2coin chip...

Unless its an error... in the bible... SS3918 is shown to be a 3CM

SS3918  97.404 (96.896)  19.863  (64)ABC  2000/4000/10K (1)  400/800/1199 (7) 5.04

For the Wild Star RWB you have,
I'd try and get the SS6437 chip!
It pays out a yummy 28,000 Top Award and
the 1,199 credits awards 34 times!

The SS3671 chip, on the other hand, pays out the 10,000 jackpot only once and
the 1,199 award only 7 times in about roughly 10 million pulls.  Tongue Out

I see that...hmm, you may be right... Scratch Head
The only way to know for sure is to stick it in and
see how many coins it takes! yes
My list might be wrong then?
I'm gonna go have a talk with them! boss

Chip is indeed a SS3918...checked it out in the machine.

I suppose the only way to see if it will work with the strips is to change them out!!! Weird Eyes

Glad I didn't change out the glass yet!   angry-kitty

Keep in mind that SS6437 is 128 stops per reel, thus the sample size is larger.  The odds of hitting the 1199 award on the 6437 chip is 1 in 61,681.  The odds of hitting the 1199 award on the similar payback chip with 64 stops (SS3670) is 1 in 37,449.

The odds of hitting the 28,000 coin jackpot is 1 in 1,048,576
The odds of hitting the 10,000 coin jackpot is 1 in 262,144.

So if you play the 64 stop cihp, and let's say you play 262,144 x 3 to get 30,000 coins, is still less than the 1,048,576 pulls to get the 28,000.

Yes, you can get lucky and hit the 28K on your first spin, but statistically speaking the 64 stop chip will pay out the equivalent top award more often.

Depends on the meaning of the word "is"........... Cry Laughing But I digress, it really boils down to what your definition of "fun" is I like my hits to be more spread out, some like more frequent hits. yes

They are both about the same in hit frequency 4.93 (64 stop chip) vs 5.31 (128 stop chip) spins per win.

If you want more volatile, then the 128 stop chip is for you.
If you want more "hits" the 64 stop chip is for you.

Rick has already addressed this indirectly, but to be clear, when the bible listing indicates 1 hit or 7 hits for the top awards, it is per cycle for that game chip, not the number of hits for 10 million pulls. A complete cycle is the number of virtual stops to the power of the number of reels. This would be 262,144 stops for a 64 stop game.
