Is there a newer/alternate key chip for 3902 based I-games other than 22?

You use either a key 17 or a key 22 with 3902 games.  044 games use a Key 40.

Jeff  The Key 040 works well with a 3802 or a 3902 board in a Game King

Hey Buzz, so the key 40 works backwards?     I believe the key 28 is 044 only  Scratch Head

All I know is it works on the 6 Game Kings I have, mix of 3802 and 3902 boards

Correct...I always use a 28 on the 044 boards...works every time.  And the Key 40 works like a "master" for all 3902 games.

I ran out of room a long time ago!! It got so crowded  I put a 19" Game King at my Daughters house, lot's of luck getting it back. if you know what I mean!! I only have 25 left in the house, damn garge is still full.

Jeff meant the KEY 40 is for 044 CPU using the Adapter Board for Simms, and KEY 28 for 044 Daughterboards
