I have an opprotunity to purchase the above mentioned game.  I don't know allot about it or of these I-Game games or cabinets.  How easy or hard is it to work on and whats a decent price for one?  Any info would be helpful.  I know I have Texas Tea  and Cleo on a 3902 board that I use my Game King machine for and it's fairly easy to work on.  Are actual I-Game machines easy to work on if there is a problem?  Also I would assume that doing a game change is just as easy to do?  I see allot of I-Game games and glass for sale (here and on eBay).

Anyone have any input?

Thanks, Ron

Ron,

They are virtually the same platform, so I would have to say that they are similar to work on. The game changes are just as easy. For the most part the differences that I can think of is that the IGames are probably newer machines, usually they have the digital monitor, they have the second row of buttons on the button panel, and they have an addition I/O card for those. The insides are a bit more organized, and I think that most if not all of them only have Cherry Switches for the door as opposed to optics, a big improvement in my mind! They tend to be a bit spendy usually, but deals are there to be had. I have the nice large 19" Chop top with the curved front I-game Plus, and my only criticism is that it is impossible to find glass sets for this size machine!!! Most of these machines go out of the casinos and straight into the INTL market, so here we see more of the 17" models and more glass available.

I hope that my 2 cents worth helps, and I am sure that others will chime in as well!

CH thanks for your input on this.  So my next questions is this.  Is $1000 a good price for one?  It has some sort of blue plastic clear frame around the screen, maybe it's green I don't remember but the game was  pretty awesome with the sounds and all that.  This is a 17 inch model so replacing glass and games seems to be easier.  I see 17 inch glass on eBay all the time.  We are debating it and if we get it we can get it anytime.

Sounds like a pretty good price to me, but I have not looked around for a while.

Rob, Awesome looking machines, both of them.  K+ for sharing.  The one I can get looks different from yours. The one I can get has a penguin front or something like that. It's a sloped front.  Difficult to explain.

$1000 for an I plus CFBL is a great deal! Even more so if it comes with the glass set. I've never seen a colored bezel on any IGT videos , it is probably a custom job.  If it fits well and you don't mind it, then all is good. you could always get a replacement later anyway.

It looks like this one.  But it has a blue (or green) bezel around the screen.  It seems to me that the bezel is see-through and that it might have had lights on it or something.  I wouldn't mind the blue bezel.  Heck, I thought it was supposed to be on there  frying pan frying pan

That's a newer cabinet, I wouldn't be surprised if it has an 044 board in it.  The bezel around the monitor lights at times including the bonus.  Awesome deal.  If you're going to pass, then let someone else in on it.

Thanks,

Wayne, That would be awesome if it had an 044 board in it. applause  I'll have to ask and see if he knows.  We are probably gonna pick it up when we get our 5-reel. I hope that's on Wednesday. yes yes   The same guy is supposed to get us a 5-reel Cleo game so we can swap it out and put in our 5-reel Crystal 7's kit in it. I just wanted to make sure it was a good deal before agreeing to buy it.  The only problem now is that our game room is so full now that having two more games in the house just makes this small house even smaller but I think I'll just have to put this game in bed with me so I can play it while I sleep.  rotflmao rotflmao

Well, I'll fall short, and others can fill in the missing pieces.. Sherlock Smiley

You have a set of four reel strips hanging from what looks like a free-standing towel rack in the background. The desk is cluttered with papers and the chair looks comfortable, so that might be your "office" area. Nerd I see a rack of pots and pans hanging from the ceiling, so the area with the florescent light might be your kitchen.  Pie stir the pot / get cooking What's weird is that the clock on the wall looks like it reads 12:35 -- although it's hard to tell -- but the camera indicates that picture was taken at 1:57pm, so one of them might be off -- probably the camera. If it were set for Daylight Saving Time, the adjusted camera time would be 12:57, and if it's running a bit fast, that would put it in the ball park of 12:35pm) Sherlock Smiley Unfortunately, I can't identify the most obvious piece of the puzzle: the 16" slot in the foreground.  Scratch Head It looks like the maximum payout is 15.000 coins, but I don't recognize the artwork. Another sleuth will have to solve that one. arrow

CaptainHappy, you KNOW that you should never throw down the gauntlet around here. Cry Laughing Cry Laughing Cry Laughing Cry Laughing
I've left plenty of stuff for others to discover; I don't want take all of the fun out of it.. Tongue Out

So is that a Game King that is to the left of this game??  That looks like the exact cabinet we have on ours.  As far as that CFBL game, that looks like the cabinet except this one is 17 inch.  I have a feeling that we are going to be picking it up in the near future.
