Even at 10.00 a piece, it would be 35 thousand, too rich for my blood.

Wow that a lot of Monitors.  That will fill a 40X20X8 foot room floor to ceiling. If you win the bid if have to get them all in 5 days. If any are not picked up in the first 5 days they will charge you $200 a day for storage.

I wouldn't give them a quarter for the lot of them, no telling how long they've been sitting out in the weather and who has an auction on craigslist anyway, I thought that's what ebay was for  Scratch Head

The question should be, how much are they going to pay you to take them !!  The ones that are bad can't be taken to a land fill, that chunk of glass is contaminated with lead. I heard  about a nickle a pound and a bunch of paper work to dispose of them.

40 X 20 X  8 building will hold 3500 monitors ?? You do the math, in your picture those are 4 X 4 pallets with 8 monitors on each one.  40 X 20 building if your lucky you can get 50 pallets on the floor, stack the pallets two high, that's 100 total pallets X 8 monitors per pallet equals total 800 monitors, where you going to put the other 2700. This first 800 are already close to one and a half truck loads.

Your right Buzz. I was basing it on stacking the monitors on top  of each other with an average of 15 inch cubed.
Although after rechecking my math that 3072 monitors. I would need and extra Four feet. Thats 40 x 24 x 8  So that 32 monitors across (40) 6 High (8) and 19 deep (24)   32*6*19=3648

I found this Bally 809 recently on CL for $240 including the original stand. It's very clean...actually looks much better in person than from the shot. I had to replace the coin switch. It did take one to five nickels but now coins are being rejected, although it will spin if I manually flip the switch. Regardless, I'm happy with this and I'll probably be asking some questions on the Bally EM forum.

I need to stay off Craigslist! There's TOO MANY deals here. This one was an "accidental" purchase. While looking at an older Bally, I noticed this in the man's garage, in the corner. He simply hadn't listed this yet and said "$350 or make me an offer, I want it out of  my garage." Days later, it got to me and I e-mailed and offer of $200 and we settled at $250! He was a very nice gentleman and away I went with this extremely heavy slot. A little bit of cleaning and it looks great and works perfect, minus a bill validator.
