I highly recommend that you start a new thread about your friend's Universal machine!
Post pictures too!
That will help a lot! There's a fella named "Uniman" I'm sure will have a lot of helpful info
about your Universal should he happen to see your thread!  yes

Oh! Welcome to newlifegames!

To add to what Bunker said, here is the location of alot of information about Universal Machines.

http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?board=63.0

That is the good place to post your question, and you can peruse the threads in there as there is alot of information on Universals in there.

Hi all!

Tyler here, from California.  I am a slot technician (aspiring to be a true bench tech) for a small casino up in the mountains, and we're lacking in many basic manuals and other gaming related documents.

Just joined up here to try and get advice on pesky machine issues, and to try and hunt down the manuals I don't have.

If anyone knows where to find a manual for a WMS BB1 mechanical reel machine (the one with the two little red LCD displays below the reels) and a manual for an aristocrat MK VI upright video, please let me know.  My email is in my profile.  Thanks, and I'll be looking forward to contributing whatever advice of my own I can offer.

Thanks for letting me be part of the NLG family, guys.   wave

Just a kind reminder: please only put your e-mail in your profile, putting it out here may attract nasty spam! Careful. And welcome to NLG!

Welcome tgris87 to NLG. I took the liberty and removed your e-mail address
on your post and refered it to your profile.

Hope someone can help you find some manuals.

Hey there =D

My name is Heath.  Honestly I happened upon this site completely on accident and thought it might be a good resource.  I'm considering going to school to become a slot tech at CSN.  I'm a Marine right now, I get out quite soon though, and my job is Aviation Radar Repairer, so I have a very strong electronic background.  Anyways, Hi =]

Hello Heath and welcome to NLG.

You may also want to check out www. slottechforum.com which is aimed more at techs active in the industry. You will also find some tech vacancies advertised there.

Hi folks!
Just gained a bit of interest in slots, or well, at least a couple of them, and joined as I've been pointed here by others.  I've got a fair amount of arcade experience and am just throwing myself into pinball at the moment as well.

New to NLG...
Just picked up a IGT triple double wild cherry, and a double diamond..
So far so good... The tech that sold me the machines so far has been helpful, and I am searching NLG to learn more about slots in general...
Most of my questions that I have had I have been able to remedy thanks to this site. The only problem that has me stumped at the moment is my double diamond wont cash out when you hit the cash out button.. It makes the noise and says call attendant. My Triple Double Cherry seems to be working find atm.
My tech is supposed to come by today and take a look at the double diamond for me and change out the top glass... the top glass I have shows to be a three credit game when in actuality the game appears only to be a two credit... I will check chip numbers and post in the technical if I have any ??'s
Thanks for this wonderful site as I thought I was going to be up a creek without a paddle until I came across this place!  Cry Laughing
