Hello All:

I am bringing a Bally Proslot out of a years hibernation due to remodeling. It is a Double jackpot Blazing Sevens Diamond Line and came up with a code 81 which the book tells me is a saferam error which I have narrowed down to the battery.  Where is the best source for batteries.  I did read the post about changing the battery over to a holder attached to a larger on board IC chip. has anyone tried this with success.  I'd  rather due that then solder the board. Does the old battery need to be removed before installing the new holder? Which battery is the best type to use. Any and all suggestions appreciated. This will probably be just the start of a long start up thread. I figure the coin mechs will have a problem and it will need additional upgrades. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions
