Does anyone know the settings for ds1 on a bally MonteCarlo. I keep gettin 91nc which Is no communication. anyone help!!!!!

DS1

5 is OFF the rest are ON

Jumpers

Make sure JW8 and JW9 are in the 2-3 position

Make sure the U24 chip is removed from the board.

Do a Full Clear after making these changes.


After that go into the 11-d settings to do your set up and make sure :

7=1
2=4

If that doesn't work you have other problems.

It worked what is the u-24 for and do you know why the ticket printer will print out one ticket and everytime after it goes to handpay?
that's the last thing I need to know about these 6000's

Ticket printers will not work with Bally S6000's unless you use 2003 mains OR unless you are linked to a validation server at a casino.  Unfortunately, the Monte Carlos must use 2006 Mains or newer and thus you must use hand pay or pay in coins only on these.  The hand pay / jackpot music on these is really nice anyway...I like the hand pay in this case.  Not sure exactly what U-24 is for, just know it needs to be removed on these machines.
