Welcome to  nlg, Frank!

We can help you with your machine -- what feature are you trying to set up?  I presume you have an IGT S+ game -- what theme is in there?  Care to post a picture or two of your machine -- we all like seeing what's being worked on!

The purpose/benefit of contributing to the website is to help keep it up and running.  This site is the best resource for information for home owners of slot machines, and we have a lot of very knowledgable and friendly members here.  The site's hosting bills are paid for by the owner of New Life Games, with the help of contributions from members like me and you.  It is not necessary to donate -- we'll help anyone who asks for it -- but if you find that you've gotten some benefit from the site, it's nice to contribute.  You'll also get a badge by your username that says, "Contributing Member."  Some of the more senior members have a "Contributing Member Gold" badge -- it's just used to distinguish some of the members who have been around for a while and have gone above and beyond with their help to other users of the site.

Please do not PM me for support or "how to" requests -- please post your request in the forum so that everyone may assist you and everyone can benefit from the answer to your question!  Thanks! Smiley

Your machine is set to the "Non-Credit" mode.
All bills inserted into the bill acceptor are coming out of the hopper in coin.

Press the test button until you get a [2] in the Winner Paid window.
Turn the reset key until you get an [8] in the Winner Paid window.
Using the Spin button, change it to a [1].
Close the door and let the MPU reboot up.
The "Insert Coin" window should light up.
All bills will now go to the "Credits" window.
