I am trying to change the credit setting from non credit to credit or user selectable, there are no credits on the machine I open the bottom door plug in the keypad and hit kbd/cler and enter 27 02 enter and I get a Ec in the top display what is the procedure for making this happen ????
Thank you for any help. the manual I have is not very clear.

Some mains use the keypad, some use the on-screen options.
I'm not sure which are which??? Have you used the keypad on this CPU before?
If not try turning the reset key with the door open. If you get a red screen, you should be able to change options with the on-screen.

Wish I was more help, but it looks like there is very little info out there on these older Bally machines.
Maybe that's why some people don't like them as much??

27 01 Credit
27 02 Player Selectable (WHY?)

Using Keypad, Press Keyboard/Clear
EC =  Enter Command
Press 27 01 Enter

They Keypads are touchy so if it register the number twice just press clear
