Oh Clay, since you finished the Money to Burn, I just found something interesting. A dotmation machine called Batter Up. Here is a blurb from a 1995 gaming article:

"The WMS machines incorporate digital quality sound and Dotmation LED displays to create high quality animated secondary game play. For example, in WMS' new machine, Batter UP, a player can win not only through traditional matching of symbols on spinning wheels, but also through scoring runs in a baseball game which is played out on the Dotmation LED display and which is activated by the spinning wheels."

I also found a picture for your enjoyment.

WOW i thought i had all the dotmation slots cataloged and pictures at
http://www.marvin3m.com/arcade/wmsslot.htm
http://www.pinrepair.com/slots/wms/batup.htm (picture added thanks!)

Has anyone ever seen this one? 1995 is early for a dotmation
too. They did make a non-dotmation baseball game, but i've
never heard of "Batter Up".

Where did this picture come from?

The key here is Larry DeMar, who was head of the pinball
division at Wms. Larry is a CRAZY baseball fan. And it was
Larry that started doing slot at Wms in the 1990s, so it makes
sense that there would be a dotmation baseball slot.
I think there's a non-dotmation baseball wms slot too.

Great lists , K+  thanks for the info.  Now I want one of each, of course I would rather keep my wife.

Thanks,
Wayne

i actually had nearly one of each during this summer! i had to trim down
though, as they were occupying the entire garage. it was difficult
to trim the collection down. I mean these dotmations are a bit hard
to find, especially the strange titles. Anybody have a safecracker
for example?

I have a Winning Streak and a Big Bang.  They have been very good machines.  One thing that surprised me was how heavy they are compared to an IGT Splus.

Thanks again,

True.  yes  My Dotmation was the only machine I couldn't get onto a slot stand without help. Of course, I could have removed the transformer etc., but it was easier to get a friend to help out.

Ok i researched "Batter Up" dotmation. it was never produced. it was the FIRST dotmation,
made as a test for a LV trade show. but in the end only one was made and no more.

Adrian-

It looks like someone has uploaded the manual for these type of slot machine in the "Submit a New File" area linked above.  Here's a direct link to the manual.  Hope that helps.

Clay-

Great information.  I suspect you're now going to try and get your hands on the reel strips and EPROMs!   Tongue Out

They did make the game Heavy Hitter (400 series), non dotmation, I guess to compete with Bally's Grand Slam
