Bally Bellyaching

I have a Bally Video Slot Machine (playboy).  The game is in play and operational, in the middle of being played it will begin to falter.   I will hear a noise like it is trying to load and it will then go to the screen you see here, until the next time it is turned off and on again. 

Any help in solving the problem is greatly appreciated.

Well, I don't know jack about that machine, but the screen suggests that there is a problem reading the CD. Have you tried cleaning the CD and very carefully blowing the optics clean on the CD reader with compressed air?

I agree with STAT its having trouble with the cd-rom -buy a real cd-rom cleaner disc and run it a few cycles
then I was told by my brother who is the video expert .. i dont agree on many things -but seperate story

if a cd-is made with a label from a music or film manufacture---- he said light polmolive soap and water can be used to clean them .
there is some protective coating he claims on them . a fine type of "case hardening " in metals if someone is familiar with that term ?

but back to the machine clean disc clean player try a re-boot and see what happens >>>>it could be a lazy cd-rom player <<could be the culprit also

or just send it to me for repair along with the other one you never sent lol

I concurr with the others, it looks like a CD Rom problem, the drive itself is either not reading the disk because the disk is dirty or the drive is defective, had the same issue with an atronic game and had to change the drive. Rockets brother is correct, the disc can be cleaned using mild soap and water, you can try cleaning the drive and disk to see if that works. Either way, if nothing else, it would be a good idea to clean the disc, even if you have to change the drive. Believe it or not, the best place I have found to clean CD's is a video game store, they have a machine that will clean and buff the surface of the disc without damaging it.
