I agree, but keep in mind that while 1 is usually the lowest payback and 6 the highest, the percentages are not the same for different machines.

I was lucky enough to find two specific documents in English for my machine on the net not long after I received the slot, one of which listed the different paths to getting the jackpot and what all of the video clues and reel back light clues meant. A few months later, they were gone.

Specific model machines are put into service and taken out at roughly the same time, and therefore hit the U.S. market in waves. If you find a machine that you like, the best thing to do is snap it up during the initial dump into the market because you probably won't see it again. If any docs are out there for a specific model, they will most likely be found while the machine is new to the U.S. market and be gone afterward.

I don't know how well stocked the pachitalk forum is with machine specific documentation.

It's actually pretty good, I am a member over there but find myself here more often! The manuals are OK but some tell you about quarter conversion which is really not legal unless you live in the 13 special states.

I disagree - a token can be used for gambling just as easy as a quarter.
If you look at any blackjack table - they don't use cash they use chips.
Also they sell poker sets in every US state. You can buy, and transport them across state lines and that is not illegal.

Even in slot friendly states like Ohio and Nevada - use of the machine for gambling is illegal.

So if the machine is legal in any particular state - the quarter conversion should be a non-issue as gambling remains illegal.
