Hello My s5500 is flashing 80. I know it's a code for checksum does not match. How to I correct that? Do I need a clear ram chip? Thanks Scratch Head

you probably just need a couple new chips you can tell which ones by the lights  blinking

How many blinks per second

1 = Main EPROM checksum error (u12 & u15)
2 = S Main EPROM error (u18 & u20)
3 = Personality EPROM error (u18 & u20)
4 = volatile RAM read/write error (u67 & u68)
5 = nonvolatile RAM (Safe Ram) failure (u67 & u68)
6 = Battery low

Hope this helps

If you have 92000 mains
                                      1 set the jumper so it covers the 2 pins
                                      2 put board back in machine
                                      3 Wile holding in the Test and pseudo button keep holding them in
                                      4 turn on machine still holding buttons in
                                      5 watch door leds for ch c       then   C L   C    then release buttons
                                      6 Turn off machine
                                      7  take jumper off
                                      8 reinstall board
                                      9 turn on machine and it should reset and play

With 80 flashing you will not be able to clear the machine and clear chips probably will not help you
did you get the code 80 fixed ?
if so which chip was it?
