Let's talk avatars.  Are you one of those guys or gals that hangs onto the same avatar for years, or do you change avatars like underwear (which hopefully is every day)?  My latest is not because I'm a Hulk Hogan fan, it looks like he had 1000 cups of coffee and can't stop flexing!   Cry Laughing Cry Laughing

What's the story with yours?

Thanks,
Jason

The first slot I bought was an IGT S+ Coral Reef, which I bought a day or so after I found this site.  I posted on here asking, "should I buy this slot?", and the support and help I got was fantastic.  I think that's the slot I did the most mods to, too.  I added a mini-photon progressive, later a ChamII+ progressive and a topper, and a lighted bill validator sticker.

I'm 99% sure that my avatar came from a picture I took of my "new" machine, and photoshopped.  This is the only avatar I've used on here -- I don't tend to change them that often.

Here was the machine when I first got it:

Here's the "finished" product (different game kit, of course):

Abby, in the pic, is the most spoiled lab in the world. Her mom says it's my fault. The picture is from when she was around 5 mos old so I'll probably need to update it soon. Definately dad's little buddy though yes

For the first two years (slightly less) that I was on the site, I changed avatars like pants (not quite as often as underwear arrow). I had avatars of jackpots I'd hit, of my cats, and other stuff. I originally put up the Spam pig when we were having some problems with spammers. A few other members also had spam related avatars (Rickhunter had a laptop with spam oozing out of the CD drive, if I recall).

Anyway, I thought the pig was cute with those beady eyes and the animated snout, so I left him up for a while. Then members complimented him and I left him up a bit longer. Then members complained when I finally did remove him, so I put him back. Now he's been up for just over two years (since slightly before the first site crashed) and he's stuck there! I did put up a 4th of July avatar this year for a day.

I change my avatar often. Have had several machines, glass, and my dogs. Current pic is our French Bulldog watching a Wheel Of Fortune machine at McCarren Airport.
My favorite avatar was "Millie" a Basset Hound we had for thirteen years before she passed. A teriffic, devoted dog!!!!!
Had one .gif from an online Universal manual. It runs once when clicked.

What???...Where???...Huh???

« Reply #6 on: September 30, 2010, 12:03:14 AM »

Hmmm, well originally I had a pic of my S+ Triple Cherry which is probably the most
preferred game I have...in fact I've NEVER taken the kit out unlike the rest of my games.
I decided to change at some point...not sure why other than just change.
I saw so many folks have Cats in theirs so I went with Dogs. I do not own either
nor do I have a preference...I like all animals.
The "What???...Where???... Huh???"  just kinda fits...here, there, and everywhere!  rotflmao

I took my wife out with me one evening to the golf course.
She brought her camera along and took some really
good shots as the sun was setting down behind me.
There's a whole bunch more but that one I've always liked
because it looks like I was just getting ready to really smack the ball!

I think my other one was one of me putting on
one of my favorite golf holes...I lost it though... Duh!

The " burning paper bag" came from another website that I used to go to, had to do with phone hacking so this person that had the ID "Gangals" had the avatar and he was always getting "punked" by a guy named Frog, So he had "Damn you Frog" in the caption. I liked it so I stole it................. The disclaimer is half joke, half serious. That came from a site that dealt with ............shall we say........."Free TV?"They all did that but I doubt it would save their asses...................

The Bally is my first slot and I am hooked on them.
I now have a IGT Red White and Blue Wild Star and
a Aristocrat video slot machine also.
