I love my slots.....

« on: October 03, 2010, 03:45:32 PM »

Hey guys..
Have a couple parts complete bally's 6000 machines.. Looking to use the coin comparator for credit input, but instead of the coin going to hopper i want to divert it back to the tray. This way i can continue to cycle the same coins. I need to know what I have to do to be able to keep the coin comparator, but not to use a hopper? Maybe even remove it, as well I don't want the bill acceptor to work (US). Can I turn it off? And last but not least for now I want to have all payouts "handpay" not hopper. I have ticket printers in all machines, but no tickets.. so I cannot experiment with that yet till I get tickets, then I can have all payout go threw the ticket printer I assume.

Thanks in advance..

In Ontario, anyone know where I can buy the tickets?? As well anyone have any good working Canadian bill acceptors that will work on the S6000.

As well I have 4 IGT Splus units.. I would like to the same thing on.. any help there would be great as well..

Thanks Steve

You'll have to get a chip & go into setup to change things.
As for bill acceptor check with a69mopar . He's up your way.

Thanks Ford.  Hi Steve, you will have to remove the diverter, and it's chute and modify the return chute to carry the accepted coins back to the tray.  Shouldn't be too hard.  You don't even need it set for tickets, you can have it ring the bell when you cash out and turn the key to stop bell (hand pay reset).  As for the chute, open the belly and look at the small metal chute with a solenoid on it, remove that and fabricate a chute that diverts the coin to the plastic chute.  You'll know what I mean when you look.

Thanks,
Wayne
p.s.  I do have tickets.

If you remove hopper you have to put jumper across on plug. I'm not sure what #'s.
If you don't find out I'll look when I get in office tomorrow.

K+ Wayne,
With that set up,
Can you set the hopper to zero and use the printer for cash out?

I imagine you can also perform your mod with two jumpers from the front of the plug also.

set 61(machine directed payment) to 2, which is printer only.  73 can stay at the default value.  The printer won't work so it will go to hand pay.

Alright I changed the 61 in the menu..works as i wish.. when the cash out button is pushed it takes about 4 sec then the bells go off indicating a hand pay. Key resets this.. I have the top candle light flashing once every 2-3 sec. I think its indicating a coin has been played and put in the "Coin drop slot"? how do i reset this or turn it off.. or is it something that will always happen.. Im still using coins to enter credits, they are just being diverted back to tray now..

Thanks for all the help!

As well

I have 4 x WBA-13-SS Transports
3 x WBA-12-SS Heads
and 1 x WBA-11-SS Head

Do I need to replace both to swap to Canadian bills? Or just heads and new chips?

Thanks
