Staz, are you sure it's the handle? try to disconnect the coin chute diverter solenoid....  The handle release solenoid should click when you press bet one, is it the same click?

you won't be able to turn that off.  It activated the handle solenoid momentarily.  I would check to see that the screw linking to the solenoid is in place.  The click is normally not an issue.

Thanks,

I zip tied the solenoid on my s+ because unplugging caused an error. No big deal except your handle doesn't lock anymore

It's in the rear, right hand corner of the cbinet attached to the handle assembly framework. Pull your hopper out and shove your head in with a flashlight. It'll be the barrel looking thing with a 2 wire plug going to it. Slide the ziptie up behind it and over the top and zip it.

All a solenoid is a magnetically wound wire field with a plunger in the middle.
If you don't know how to solder - buy a replacement and swap it.

Heh...well I didn't "fix" it....I just killed it instead.  Nerd  His machine was not clicking during the reels spin and stops and his 38 under the 11d settings is set to 0...just during the Bet it clicks...which is normal as far as I know...just like an IGT.  Maybe that other main gets rid of it, but I don't have it.  Anyway...knowing you personally....I know you don't care about the handle....so this get's rid of ALL clicking accept that going on still in your brain  Crazy

On with the sale of these other great Montes...Tommy can't complain about all the publicity you've been getting.  Tongue Out  By the way...very cool neon sign.
