Hey Guys,,,, Got everything working great.

Progressive working
Turned off bill acceptor
Shorted the 2 sets of wires at the hopper
No ticket printed
Programmed 61 - 02, For hand pay
Use coin as input, but it is diverted back to the tray

I did this on 2 machines at the same time. One still has a hopper and the other doesn't.
Both of them have the white top Candle light flashing once every 3 sec I would say. I cannot seem to clear it. It did this as soon has I changed option "61". As well then it diverted the coins to the cabinet below... So I am stumped..

And suggestions? I don't get any error codes when I open the door either.

If the printer is still enabled that may be the low/no paper warning

it's a communication error.  You can change the candle settings on an S6000.  I believe setting option 48 to 4 will correct this.  If not, then try the other settings.

Thanks,
Wayne

Do you have an error with the door closed ?
if so what #

The progressive has nothing to do with it
Did you try Wayne's suggestion ?
To change some options you have to clear the machine again
if it don't work without any credits unless you show an error with the door closed.

Hey Guys got it figured out.

The light was flashing due to an error because i switched 61 to 2... But I did not have a printer installed, I guess the machine didn't like that. So I figured out if you change options as follows

56 - 0000
51 - 1000
58 - 1000

The it works great, will allow 1000 credits to build, and any time cash out is hit it goes to hand pay. Works awesome..  It took me awhile to figure out, every time I changed "56" it changed 51,58 automatically. So you have to change them afterwords back to what you want.. You prolly already know this.. but thought I would post my results!

Thanks for the help...
