Machine: IGT Trimline

Failiure: While on the Starting Up routine, screen freezes in the part where it says “ Zero Checking Flash †and stays like that forever.

There was no way of getting the machine to finish the start up process.

Solution: replace Battery BT1

Note: the desconection of this battery from the board carries the risk of erasing the licensing information. Proceed on your own risk!!!

Cheers Wink

Same problem with mine but a 044 board.Did the second amber LED from the test switch go out also when it got to the "zero checking flash"?

I fixed mine the same way by replacing the battery also. The weird thing about mine was the battery was reading 3.5 volts.

The board pictured is a 044 too.

Don't remember any led down beside the reset sw.

Sometimes batteries reads Ok in the multimeter but they are too old and do not deliver propperly.

Cheers

Yes those.. that's how they should be.  The red one in the corner only flicks once right after you turn the machine on.  That's the normal behavior.

Other than that, there is a prob.

Cheers.

When it would get to "zero checking flash" before I changed the battery, the 2nd amber one from right of the test switch would go out.

Can this error occurs  due to broken flash card?
I had the same error at a trimline (zero checking flash) and was fixed when I replace the card.
Is this means that my old card is still ok?
