 I'm running into a problem with communication on the Atronic
Cashlines. The machines are communicating but I keep getting the
message 'Communication Level or Structure Version Mismatch' and the
machine locks up prohibiting full EFT/Cashless/Bonusing. Have you seen
this before? Here is what I am running;
Main = P-SPH2-B-A-CG-USA
Paytable = Q555---A-01-B-8808
Comm = P_-09-MR-STD_-_-08A
SAS = 5.02
Comm board settings;
SW7 =1
S5 switch 6 = On
SenII harness connect to P2
TITO PCB in P5
System is Aristocrat SENII
 I don't know if it is the Main software or an option/dip setting
causing this. Comm/Main and Config are all cleared. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

Is that error on the system or on the machine ?
Is it a cashless sytem or TITO ?

Ian,
  Thanks for the response. The message is on the machine. Sorry, it's TITO not cashless. The machine is communicating but the message appears no matter what I've tried.

TZtech, Hail Hail Hail I've switched my Atronics over to four different games. Only one I could ever get to work was the "Happy Safari", all the rest would keep giving me a COMM-BOARD ERROR. I have two different COMM boards and both work with Safari. Now I know what the settings are for the board(not in the manual and I've been looking everywhere for it). Been playing with this for a few weeks  hissy fit

Right before I read this post I pulled all the chips(14) back out to put back in Safari...guess I'm putting the same one I just removed to  try  yes

Hi

From some posts on this forum it seems that on the american software the comms board sw is linked to the board (From the response you got on the other forum not to sure if this is true) Over here we have generic comms sw. Let me know what games you are trying to get operational and i will see if i can dig up any info.

Regards
