I have a splus slant and after changing the chip powering down/up and hitting the reset until it displays 61 1, closing door and turning the reset key it still shows 61 1.
I have taken the switch out and touched both the leads together to make sure the switch was not the problem and checked the plug but it still displays 61 1.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Mike

Is your Front door on, sounds like you have a door open, either the front door, the main door isn't closing or the BV door, also make sure the front door latch is closed over the pin, then try turning the key

I may be a little late in replying but make sure that the "coins played" light changes from a "0" to a "1" when the door is closed.
That will tell ya that the door optics are working.

Doesn't it only do that in the optics test?

I dont think so knagl,
Whenever I open my door, the "coins played" displays a "0".
When I close the door, the "coins-played" displays either a "1","2","3" or whatever coin type game.
Sometimes it displays a "5" when I have a 5coin game. It really depends on how many coins were last played.
In the coin test option, you will see a "1" if the optics are working, or a "0" if it isnt.
