Does someone on this board have a listing of the option menu for dummies or a link to it.

It would be nice if it explained how to get into the options and which buttons control which option etc.

I am adding a coin comparitor and hopper to my machine and will need to set up the options for these items.

Thanks fiero1988gt

You'll also need to make sure your dipswitch settings are correct on the MPU to recognize the coin in pieces. I just put coin in parts in my grandpa's machine this past weekend. That will be in the Bally manual as well, its one of the few actually helpful manuals that I've seen for electronics.

Thanks for the heads up on the dip switch setting.  Any idea what page that might be on?  Nice of you to help your grandpa.  Just to let you know your are still helping a grandpa (grampy).  These things are a greater chalange to us.
I bought a coin kit which did come supplied as shown in the add.  I didn't realise that the coin kit was not going to be complete.  I still need the wire harness for the comparitor and the wire harness for the flipper relay in the coin chute and the little stubby chute to drop the coins into the hopper.  So am still a little ways from setting it up to work.  If you have a good look at the pictures you will see what I am missing.  I have contacted the people from whom I have purchased the coin kit for these items but I haven't heard back yet if they have them and what my cost would be.  Do you know where I might be able to buy them?

I bought his kit from Raz410, he's a great vendor on here and I would fully recommend him.

As for the dipswitch settings, I don't have a manual in front of me but you can search it for dipswitch and they have a whole section about it.

If I remember correctly the dipswitch bank that you need to worry about would be DS2 and the options should be 1 off 2 off 3 on 4 off. I think that is the setting for coin in.

The three items I still need did they come with the kit you purchased??  I looked for RAZ410 on the main page but didn't see him.  Is there a web site address for him?

Raz is a member here so you can just search on his name and then send him a private message. He sells a lot on ebay and has an ebay store but I don't think he has a banner on the front page.

As for the parts, he sold me a "coin in package" but then asked if I needed the short coin chute and the hopper since those were extra. The package by itself would have been the coin head, comparitor, comparitor bracket with harness and optics. Grampa's machine didn't have a hopper and I couldn't remember if it had the short chute or not so I went ahead and paid extra for it. Other than buying the add ons of the hopper and coin chute, everything else that I needed was included. But I guess the term package deal could mean any number of things to any number of people so every seller could be different.

My package was almost complete--My package came with the coin slot on the front door to drop the coin through--the comparitor with bracket and the optics--and the hopper.  Never installing one before I wasn't aware of the cables and short coin chute.  There is a relay with a diverter in the coin shute on the door which has no harness to it.  Is this relay required and will I need the harness to this relay?

I haven't heard back yet from my seller if they have the parts I need.  I am anxious to get the parts and get it working.
