Hello everyone, I recently purchased my first slot machine.  It was a pretty beat up non-operational e-1000 series that had been converted to an arcade machine.  I have currenty got it back to life, changed the program, reels ect.(with a whole lot of help from foxslots1!) and everything is working great.  I am getting ready to change the door glass(both pieces), and just looking for some advice or shortcuts.  It looks like I need to take the door off, and do a lot of teardown, but I just wanted to put the question out there first.  Any help would be appreciated! Dave

Oh , I already have the glass.  Bought it from Barry at foxxslots1.  I installed the feature glass already, just looking for some tips on installing the reel glass and belly glass.  It looks to me like the door needs to be disassembled, but just looking for some tips of the trade! Dave

Awesome!
Probably all you need is a screwdriver and
remove a couple screws for the brackets that hold the glass in place.
No biggie!
When you get it all up and running...
show us your machine in action! yes

Gottcha, I was hoping someone may know if the screws were exposed, or hidden under some other components. I havn't spent much time looking at it yet, but It didn't look that simple.  I would hate to start tearing the whole door down only to realize I needed to take out just a few screws or something!  Duh!

Yup, Barry is the man! Sent him an e-mail and he pointed out what screws to look for.

Thanks everyone, Got the belly glass assembly out. It was surprisingly simple. Just an FYI if anyone is interested-here are some pics of the screw locations.  I also took the trim piece off the bottm, but I'm pretty sure you don't even need to do that.  Looks like just the 2 top screws, and the whole assembly tilts right out.  The bezel on my machine is severely damaged, and hopefully a friend of mine can duplicate it. I will also be replacing the glass which is not correct for this machine.
