trying to use another manufacturers comparitors for IGT S+ applications - the ones I have SEEM to have the correct harness connector and are 24vdc - just want to make sure the connections are the same - before I smell smoke.  SO - I need the specs for PINS1 thru 6.  thank you.

Barry,   I think these are correct for the S+.

pin1=  triac load  =red jumper
pin2= sense out  =violet
pin3=50vac  =  red jumper
pin4=24vac    = yellow
pin5=12vac  n/c
pin6=ground  =  black

Usually it's just a little "pop" when a cap blows with newer electronics.

OK, so we know the pinout, but does anyone know the part number for the pins and white Molex connector for the CC16D Small coin?
I need to re-pin some large connector pigtails.

what I have done in the past, the old dollar coin comparator uses the same six pin connector,  remove the connector from the cc-33, I cut the wires about a inch up,  using the existing wires  I use the two in there and form the red loop,  then remove the three from the dollar cable and put them in their respective place in the connector. I use an old dental pick to release the pin connector and
a exacto knife to re shape the hold-in part on the pin connector.

Jim,
The dollar compairator uses the small Molex connector. I need the larger on for the small coin CC16D
The picture shown is the small connector used on the CC33
I just need to re-pin the pigtail to a new Molex connector.

I really did know what you were asking,  the OLD cc-33  had used the same connector as the cc-16. In a pinch,  I try and use the parts I have on hand to make what I need . I may be old and confused but I do try and offer help, and share what experiences that I have encountered along the way.     

Bunker==what kind of tool do you need to put the wire on the connector?

I like to solder mine Jim.
I could never afford those fancy expensive crimpers.
Mouser and places like Digi key sell the hand crimps for like $400+ bucks apiece -
way outta my league.
Sometimes, I use a cheap $4 set of jewelry hand crimpers that you can get at JoAnn's Fabrics, Micheal's, etc.etc.    stores like that...these things help curl up the metal pin tabs that grab the wire and the cover nicely...>>>

well, it was $4 when I bought them...lol

Like you, I use an Exacto knife to gently force up the locking tab on the receptor pin so that when I install it, the tab grasps the edge of the JST or Molex connector housing slit well and doesn't get pushed out the back.

Jim,
I didne't mean to imply that you were incorrect. Only that I don't have any of the compaitators of that style.
Mine are all the newer smaller connectors.

I do however have the crimper and pin removal tool. Always nice to have the tools.

its hard to justify the cost of the tool if you only use it now and then.   I  solder the pins when I have to.
