Check my post under "adding a remote to an s2000. i'm wondering if a guy could use the B channel of the receiver to hook across the credit switch on the back of the coin optics board

That "Service Credit" switch is rendered in-operable when the door is closed I'm afraid.

Also I have never gotten pseudo credits switch on the optics to work on a S2000 door open or closed. in fact closed I think it causes  coin in tilt.

I see

I wish I knew the logic changes of the Coin in signal for the comparator

Back to looking at a different VS chip
I like the idea of 13 denoms to play at any time instead of 4

It plugs into J356 which ia a 15 pin Molex connector that woul go to coin acceptor. You get that with wires that go to button which is included.
I got 2 for IGT & 1 for Bally 6000.

Here is a quick video on it. You can hit like I did here or hold down steady & it will keep putting credits on

I guess my question would be, if you have the machine set up for tokenization where each token is worth 45 credits on a 9 line machine, will the free credit button give you the same number of credits each push as inserting a token would?

There is a place that makes them for pachis as well, you can load the machine up with 50 credits and play them, no tokens required. The hoppers do not work the same as slot machine hoppers so making a fake-out for the hopper is not workable (at least not yet that I know of).

I assume it would, if you tokenize 1 token to equal 100 credits, you should get 100 for each push.

That would be great if it worked, takes a long time to poke in 45 credits each spin.

I'm not trying to knock John out of a sale, but for not much more than 65 dollars you can install coin handling. With coin handling you can set the coin denom for what ever amount you want,  up to 5 thousand dollars for one coin. That ain't free play but it's damn close to it.  With a S 2000 you won't even get a error if no hopper is installed. Set hopper limit to 0

Buzz You right ,it is close to free play , But not. By haveing this installed it would be legal to sell a machine, as this needs no coins,no bills just hit the credit button. You would go into the Denom settings and if you set the machine for $5.00 machine , this will give you 500 credits everytime you push the credit button Etc. This is great if in a state that does not allow machine that takes currency.... Hope this Helps

I don't know what the legal answer is. Some vendors follow the absolute letter of the law and some don't. Unless a person is standing before a judge, don't assume anything.

I bought 1 of those IGT s2000 Free Play Kit and I'm having trouble attaching it to the button because it doesn't fit. Is there something missing perhaps?
I really have no idea how to attach it to the button take a look I've attached an image.

Cut the fitting off and replace it with the correct one available atRadio Shack. Takes like 2 minutes
