That "Service Credit" switch is rendered in-operable when the door is closed I'm afraid.

Also I have never gotten pseudo credits switch on the optics to work on a S2000 door open or closed. in fact closed I think it causes  coin in tilt.

It plugs into J356 which ia a 15 pin Molex connector that woul go to coin acceptor. You get that with wires that go to button which is included.

I guess my question would be, if you have the machine set up for tokenization where each token is worth 45 credits on a 9 line machine, will the free credit button give you the same number of credits each push as inserting a token would?

There is a place that makes them for pachis as well, you can load the machine up with 50 credits and play them, no tokens required. The hoppers do not work the same as slot machine hoppers so making a fake-out for the hopper is not workable (at least not yet that I know of).

I assume it would, if you tokenize 1 token to equal 100 credits, you should get 100 for each push.

That would be great if it worked, takes a long time to poke in 45 credits each spin.

I'm not trying to knock John out of a sale, but for not much more than 65 dollars you can install coin handling. With coin handling you can set the coin denom for what ever amount you want,  up to 5 thousand dollars for one coin. That ain't free play but it's damn close to it.  With a S 2000 you won't even get a error if no hopper is installed. Set hopper limit to 0
