A Bally CIU.   :72-

Some sort of player tracking 'server' I would guess.

I'm hoping someone here has seen one of these in the field - and knows something about them.

Actually I read that:

"This Bally Systems Slot Management Machine has been tested, but did not power on. Therefore this item is being sold As-Is."

As - 'I plugged it in to test it. I turned it on and smoke did not pour out, but it did not power on, so it's sold as-is'.

:208- :208- :208-  I like your translation. However, technically, he didn't say that no smoke poured out. :5- :127-  :98-  :30- :200-

:31-

P.S. It does look cool, though.  :91-

NOTICE TO ALL  SLOT SERVICE TECHNICIANS !!!   Contrary to popular belief ; slot machines do not run on electricity... They run on smoke. ALL slot machines are pre-charged with smoke at the factory. The electricity is required to keep the smoke inside. Once the smoke gets out ; the slot machine is no good   :200- :200- :200-

Exactly.  :89- :89-  They make the smoke in China. :5- :71- :71- :71-

Actually, I think that what really happens is that all those free electrons running around get lost and start crashing into one another in the smoke-filled corridors. Once all that negativity gets loose, it's positively impossible to get anything done.  :50- :25-  I apologize for my "quarky" sense of humor. :203-  :200-

Anyone else notice in the pictures that two of the fuses are missing. That could be the reason
it didn't power up... :279-

Those look like the output circuit protection fuses, I'd be more interested to know if there was anything in the one just to the right of those marked MAIN FUSE...

He's dropped the BIN price, I just made him an offer. :187-
