Title: Karma Post by: cowboygames on May 11, 2012, 02:55:58 AM Anyone know what the tie in is with donations and karma? I've noticed sometimes you get karma equal to your donation and sometimes you don't, just wondering...
Title: Re: Karma Post by: stayouttadabunker on May 11, 2012, 02:59:58 AM I have no idea and I've been on this thing since I had dark hair... :200-
BTW I pushed you up to 260 +... please include me in your will. :208- Title: Re: Karma Post by: cowboygames on May 11, 2012, 03:07:12 AM Sorry Bunker, gonna have to catch you up tomorrow, I messed up :(

I've noticed sometimes you get karma equal to your donation and sometimes you don't, just wondering... Finally after all these years someone ask a question that I know the answer to. Donations and karma have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Only two people on this site know if you made a denoation, you and Joey and trust me Joey could give a s*** less what your karma is. I can officially say that Buzz is correct, Karma and Donations have nothing to do with each other! Now Buzz, what are you doing up so early??? My excuse is that I just finished some work before going to bed for a nap before I have to get up and go work on base CH :95- Title: Re: Karma Post by: StatFreak on May 11, 2012, 10:13:11 AM I can officially say that Buzz is correct, Karma and Donations have nothing to do with each other! If I'm sill awake at 8am I might hit up a Station casino for breakfast You can't beat a $4.99 buffet with an omelet station. :91- Hey, I finally went to the Rio Carnival buffet for dinner (1/2 price for locals) and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been there since 1999 but the selection is quite large and most of the dishes looked appetizing. At $13.49, I think it's a much better deal than the Aliante dinner is at $9.99. Interestingly, the half price special is about what I paid (full price) back in 1999 ! :127- :30- I'm also in the process of finding the best pizza places... :79- Stat :31- Title: Re: Karma Post by: CaptainHappy on May 11, 2012, 10:20:10 AM I can officially say that Buzz is correct, Karma and Donations have nothing to do with each other! Thanks! :96- :200- :97- My phone just rang a minute or so ago, and I thought it better not be you! :60- :58- :72- You are off the hook, it was my business partner who just left telling me to go to sleep and that he was not going to call me and wake me just to tell me that he made it home safely.... I compromised and told him to send me a txt when he got home so that I won't be worried when I get up.... in a few hours probably! :25- :8- gOOD nIGHT TO ALL! :88- :294- CH :95- Title: Re: Karma Post by: StatFreak on May 11, 2012, 10:34:21 AM ... If you like New York style pizza, Metro Pizza is good. If you like thin pizza, then Sammy's Wood Fired is good. Also, surprisingly, the pizza at the Stations Casinos buffets are good too. :181- Title: Re: Karma Post by: stayouttadabunker on May 11, 2012, 11:28:55 AM What a strange world we live in....reading about pizza at 7 in the morning... :96-
Title: Re: Karma Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on May 11, 2012, 12:02:08 PM So, what exactly does the karma number represent beside a members name then?
Thanks, David Title: Re: Karma Post by: FORDSBS on May 11, 2012, 01:06:16 PM My question is how do you know who gave you Karma.
Title: Re: Karma Post by: cowboygames on May 11, 2012, 02:04:56 PM Giving karma is a way of saying thanks to someone that's helped you solve a problem or whatever with a machine, it has nothing to do with who it is just an indication of what they've done. Kinda like feedback on ebay and used the same way.
The only way to tell who gave it to you is if they tell you they did somehow. Title: Re: Karma Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on May 11, 2012, 02:14:08 PM In that case then, I owe a helluva lot of karma to a helluva lot of members here then.
Title: Re: Karma Post by: cowboygames on May 11, 2012, 02:31:53 PM Lol, it happens, and keep in mind you can only give karma to any one particular member once in a 12 hour period. If it's a karma storm, like now, you can give it to a bunch of people at once.
Title: Re: Karma Post by: cowboygames on May 11, 2012, 02:34:41 PM Looks like Bunker will have to wait a bit though, it ain't been 12 hours yet

I drove the Big truck 4 days this week. David in talking about the Reo, I have to be at the Reo about day light Monday morning and pick up a carnival ride and take it to Porterville, CA. 336 miles oneway. Title: Re: Karma Post by: Yoeddy1 on May 12, 2012, 01:22:17 AM Find a way in to the SQL database and you can give yourself as much karma as you want. :)
