Title: Real, Reel question. Post by: Jimise on November 16, 2012, 02:30:05 AM I am having a problem with one the reels on my 5 reel machine. I keep getting a tilt on reel #4, It's like the reel locks, and won't move.
I put in another set of reels and no problem, they all work. switch back, same problem. So I am thinking that I probably have a bad stepper motor on my #4 reel. :103- My question is, does it really matter which reel goes it which slot? (1 thru 5) Or are they numbered specifically for each slot? Could I just get a new stepper motor and replace it? Ive never really had any problems with reels before. Thanks everyone, Jim. As far as the physical reel, if you have a good replacement, swap them and swap the reel strip. Or just swap the motor, but I try not to remove reel baskets from motor shafts any more than I have to
