Title: Bad rom error crc blocks tocopy Post by: paul on November 14, 2008, 12:56:56 AM Sigma 1700 I turn on machine it goes throught the start up and reads all the files then it comes up with bad rom error crc blocks to copy I have installed bios, boot rom, game chips from a working and same thing :99- :103-

I kept getting the same error and finally found out it was the cd rom I installed (actually,1 out of the 5 would only work) . Not sure what type it takes but it sure is picky :103-

I would also check U51 too since that's where a clear chip goes, and that could be easily damaged too. Also check the two batteries! i had one of the two batteries in backwards (duh) and i was getting a very similar error. Then i put the battery in correctly, and the game booted fine. |
