Those damn pots

Here is a way to ensure the background color stays blue.

Remove all three color pots near the edge connector.

Clean out the holes and drop in these resistor values.

For the blue (nearest the edge connector) solder in a 100 Ohm 1/4W resistor.

Next resistor down (the one in the middle) should be 750 Ohms.

And finally put in a 510 Ohm where the pot was that was closest to the 7407 IC.

Putting the three fixed resistors in the board will give you a very pleasing blue background.

No more trying to repair those fragile pot legs or having to clean them and adjust... very carefully.... to get a blue background.
