I walk into a smoke filled room grabs a cup of coffee and takes the empty chair in the circle. Suddenly it’s my turn. I stand and tell my story.

“My name is Bill and I’m addicted to slot machines. (Group says hi bill)
Looking back I guess I was a junkie before I new it. I went to Vegas 3 or 4 times a year, my IRA is full of casino stocks and hell my house even overlooks a gambling boat in the Midwest.

All was fine until about 2 months ago when an employee of mine comes into work with this 1925 slot machine and wants me to buy it. Then the auction in the next town over a few weeks later and now I’m up to 3 old machines but after a few weeks of repairing them and playing them I realize that old machines are better to just look at.

Then I saw the Craig’s List ad with the IGT S plus in my town for 250.00 that seemed to hold my attention for a month but it also faded. From there things seemed to move at light speed, I send a employee 3 states away to buy 5 s2000 machines, start scanning eBay & Craig’s List every morning for more stuff, game chips, glass, toppers …

It’s like crack, SlotCrack!

I stubble upon a internet webpage where other junkies hangout and swap stories, parts and give tips on where they can score some stuff. Some even meet up in a McDonald’s parking lot  twice a year to get a fix. But I love the place"
