What is the smaller "game U3" chip used for?
My XP board dont have a U3 socket.

No XP boards have U3 socket, just had a look at mine as well as the eprom extender pcb & video add on pcb & none use the chip in the pic? Possibly a US thing as Aussie programmes only use the two system eproms plus whatever game chips.

I think I found where the U2,U3 are located.This is a picture of a 2 eprom extender board.
I wonder if I will have to get one to run the software I posted in my picture?

That is an eprom system pcb, it takes 42 pin eproms like the game ones but not m27v322 but m27v160's
