Hello,

 I am new to the video poker machines. I have received two and have problems with both and hopefully I can get some help with atleast one of them. The first one I have is a sircoma model sc103 manufactured in 8/80. There are three circuit boards and the number one board looks like it over heated or had something spilled on it. Is there any place I can still get one? It is a Bally computer card #1 assy. 400715.  The other thing is the machine is missing a transformer or something located behind the bell on the top. there are wires for the transformer going up there. The monitor wires also connect to the part that is missing. Any help would be appreciated. The other machine I have is a full cabinet draw poker machine that blows fuses when turned on, it is drawing 25 amps from the fuse. this machine has no name or numbers any where on it. It has only one big circuit board on the back. I tried changing the bridge rectifier since it was drawing the high amps from the one wire. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, i replaced two caps on the board that were bad. I now have to running and the screen comes up and has a couple of cards showing and a bunch of letters. The coin mechanism doesn't operate and i can't reset the machine. Is there something i should be looking for on the board? there is a light above the coin slots that has 55v ac across both wires which i know is not right. Any ideas?

sircoma is a easy fix,but not with the chip problems.the transformer for the monitor is located behind the bell.that is a isolation 120 volt ac transfomer.got my unit yup and running,but i have the same issue.the m/b board must have a ic issue.mine resets,fails to show cards at the needed time.coin attendant failure with the coin beiing used.the monitor had to be rebuilt.new caps,bad yoke,ect.the monitor must use a positive video signal,not negative.the coin loader is optic.getting back to the transfomer,that is above,it must be a isolation transfomer,otherwise you will blow monitors.i saw there is a place in tenesse that still does repairs.i might check to see what they charge for board service.that is my only issue left.

The 25 amp draw, is that at the 4 amp line fuse or the 6.25 amp 5 volt fuse?
