My Bally Evo The Three Musketeers goes into tilt every time bonus screen comes up. Why is that happening?
What it'll do is frozed up, ticket/cashout is pressed and turned reset key, this was done twice, for it to get back to game mode.
Once its back to game mode and when it gets to the bonus....starts act up again. Any comments on this?

Bally Evo Captain Jackpot, froze up in the middle of playing, it then went into reboot and went into ramcheck and cdrom check, it stayed there long enough(about half hour) to merit a manual reboot, at which point it comes up the way it should, continued playing with the credit already in the machine, after a couple of games, lights on the buttons goes off and the machine went into automatic reboot.  Is it possible that the machines went into overheat and resets itself?  Both of these machines was working fine up until "someone" insisted on
having a zeroed out coin in / coin out, and the only way to do this was to do a ram clear. I'm left with trying to solve this. I need help.

Updates: ok, think Igot the Bally Evo The Three Musketeers working again, I went into the limits section and reset those figures and it seem to be working ok now. I insert some twenty bills and played for some half hours, hit a series of bonus and its still up running. So I think that it'll be ok.

I'll still need help with bally evo captain jackpot, I'm suspecting that it might be cdrom related, any thoughts on that? It does linger on cdrom check up
for quite a bit of time, when I looked inside the cdrom chamber, the cdrom light is off, I power off and power it right back up, then the system would come back up afterward, and then one or two plays later, the darn froze up, play buttons  lights goes out and it sit for a few seconds before it goes into automatic reboot. Help me out, please.

probably not, lots of people tend to blame the battery, I replaced a battery in my evo captain jackpot, it registered 3.64 volts.
message reported main ram failed, stage/level 1 ram passed, stage/level 2 ram passed.
In your case, I think you might have to slide dipsw1 pos 7 and 8 over to on, and go from there. p9 and p10 are about the same,
another word.. it really didn't make any differences whether if the clear chip goes in either one... Personally, I think the Evos are very close
to gamemaker when it comes to setup and clearing it out.  There are some "elder statesmen" on this forum, but don't know why they're
withhelding when they should be sharing. and folks, thats the short of it.
