I have one reel (#1) that I just can't seem to get up to same speed as other 2.  I have cleaned and lubricated all 3 reels but #1 is just a little bit slow.  Is there an adjustment that gives the reels a better kick start?  To clean I prayed wd40 into reel hub holes and then a spray lubricatant.  Them seem to spin very freely by hand.

thanks
Bob

What kind of machine? If it is a stepper motor, than there might be very weak voltage/amperage on that line.

If you have a Bally Em or one of the later E-1000 or E-2000 they have levers and spring and rollers on the underside of the reel mechanism. Make sure those all moving freely. If they do not it can cause one of the reels not get the full kick needed to spin it. . Look for any parts that could be worn out due to the age of the machine too.

If it's jammed, force it... If it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway...

I cleaned all reel components again (wd40) and then use a oil lubricant and it seems to working fine now.
